Chirimen crepe is a finely textured fabric first used for traditional kimono in Japan, and like the kimono, our Wavy Daisy Chirimen comes from a Japanese textile mill.   

Chirimen is a light-weight fabric that drapes fluidly, barely ever wrinkles or creases, and is appropriate for year-round wear. The flower print is abstract enough that it reads as a neutral, geometric print - always a favorite among our customers. We particularly love this fabric in our tunic and shirtdress styles.
